Opportunities for Nordic technology firms in the UK

The GEP travelled to Stockholm to encourage innovative hi-tech companies to take advantage of the UK’s position as a base for global growth.

GEP Network Director, Stuart Ager delivered a presentation at Baker Tilly International’s annual conference for the Nordic region. The event was held in Stockholm at the end of September.

Stuart’s presentation focused on expanding the existing links between the UK and Nordic countries in the technology sector. He argued that the UK provides a proactive and supportive business environment for early stage, technology based businesses from the Nordic region to expand internationally.

The presentation has already resulted in a number of referrals to the GEP in the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
