GEP team provides thought leadership at national conference

Alpesh Patel and our Network Director Stuart Ager discussed emerging trends and the GEP’s investment model to the UK’s Business Angel community.

By Derek Goodwin, Head, Global Entrepreneur Programme.

The Global Entrepreneur Programme were key sponsors of the 2007 British Business Angels Association Annual Conference, held in Cardiff on 3rd and 4th July. The event brought together over 200 delegates representing the UK Business Angel community.

The main theme of the conference was how, in an ever more globalised economy, to enhance the ability and confidence of UK Angel investors to invest in cross border opportunities.

Alpesh Patel, GEP Indian Dealmaker and Stuart Ager, GEP Network Director were involved in presentations and panel sessions relating to profiling and discussing different investment models. You can view Alpesh’s presentation ‘Making rain in India’ on the BBAA website.

The Conference was highly successful and has led to significantly enhanced access to UK Angel networks and Angel interest in GEP client opportunities.
